A good way is to see what each package contains and then decide which of the components would be most useful to you. You may need to pay a higher price if you want additional features you would have to pay a higher price.
You should see if the program you prefer features an encryption plug-in. It would be possible then to link to the other station through any TCP line and if it can work with different operating systems, you will not experience any compatibility problems.
Lastly, if you opt for remote software, try and select one which has a simple way to interact. You will find that the good ones have both hot-keys and the ability to link without human intervention. If you require this program for your personal use, you may be able to obtain some free programs.
